Why Pineapple Express? I really don’t know why it was titled Pineapple Express. Are they selling pineapple… express? Joke!!! Anyway, this movie of Seth Rogen and James Franco will be showing first week of August 2008. I’m just thinking if this film is really a worth to be watch or just a waste of money?
Pineapple Express is directed by David Gordon Green. Starred by James Franco and Seth Rogen also one of the screenplay writers.
Based on their movie trailer as for me, I can’t see any funny things here and I would be judgmental if I would say this is not a good movie to watch. Everyone has their own judgment and we have different views on how we appreciate things most especially in viewing movies.

Most often than not, we expect more with what we have seen on the trailer or expect more what we want to see on a trailer, what we have heard about their promotional videos but by the time we’re there it’s like we’ll be disappointed because that’s not what we expected to see or not we wanted to see. Anyhow, I’m not being judgmental here; I’m just saying the possible things that might happen. Sometimes if they would say “comedy” I’m expecting it to be really really funny not corny. But based on the previews I've researched this film is really funny so might as well watch it when it opens this August 6, 2008.
Here is the Synopsis:
Next summer, the guys who brought you Superbad reunite for the action-comedy Pineapple Express. Lazy stoner Dale Denton (Seth Rogen) has only one reason to visit his equally lazy dealer Saul Silver (James Franco): to purchase weed, specifically, a rare new strain called Pineapple Express. But when Dale becomes the only witness to a murder by a crooked cop (Rosie Perez) and the city's most dangerous drug lord (Gary Cole), he panics and dumps his roach of Pineapple Express at the scene. Dale now has another reason to visit Saul: to find out if the weed is so rare that it can be traced back to him. And it is. As Dale and Saul run for their lives, they quickly discover that they’re not suffering from weed-fueled paranoia; incredibly, the bad guys really are hot on their trail and trying to figure out the fastest way to kill them both. All aboard the Pineapple Express.
